겸손은 자세를 말합니다.

창조주 하나님 앞에 피조물
된 인간으로 서는 것입니다.

그 하나님을 인정하며 살기에
하나님 앞에서 자신을
낮추는 자세인 것입니다.

항상 하나님을 인식하며
사는 모습입니다.

하나님께서 우리의 모든 것을
다스리시도록 내어 드리기
때문에 겸손하게 되는 것입니다.

그런데 겸손이라는 영역은 쉽게
이룰 수 있는 것이 아니라
길고 고된 싸움을 치러야 얻을
수 있는 귀한 보물입니다.

겸손은 하나님의 성품입니다.

하나님의 성품인 까닭에
배워야 합니다.

겸손한 성품이 우리 몸에
스며들기 위해서는 겸손을
연습하고 훈련해야 합니다.

우리 내면에 겸손의 성품을
형성시켜주는 말씀의 씨앗을
심고 날마다 가꾸어야 합니다.
